FHFA settlement costs Bank of America $9.3 billion

In the face of the global economic crisis that rocked the world a few years ago, Bank of America sold its mortgage-backed securities to Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. Now, in order to settle the dispute with the Federal Housing Finance Agency, over the issue of these mortgage securities, this bank will have to shell out at least $9.3 billion.
